One of CSDI’s core objectives is to prepare students to become policymakers and public officials at the municipal, provincial, federal, and international levels by providing a theoretical and hands-on education. Under the ‘Train for the Future’ umbrella of CSDI’s work, we conduct workshops on policy communications for UBC students, staff and faculty.
CSDI conducted the Ministerial Briefing Notes Workshop for the participants of the Canadian Undergraduate Policy Competition (CUPC), 2022 on November 19th. The CUPC is the first national undergraduate policy competition in Canada and is jointly hosted by UBC’s Political Science Students Association (PSSA), International Relations Students Association (IRSA), and the Vancouver School of Economics Undergraduate Society (VSEUS).
